Share your research, practice, and innovation at MICPC 2027
The Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP) cordially invites researchers, clinicians, educators, students, and mental health professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at MICPC 2027, to be held on 25–27 March 2027 at Taylor’s University, Malaysia.
MICPC 2027 aims to provide a platform for sharing research findings, innovative clinical practices, and emerging developments in clinical psychology and mental health. Authors may submit for either oral or poster presentation.

Applicants may indicate their preferred format during submission.
Oral presentation
Present your work to a live conference audience as part of the scientific programme.
Poster presentation
Showcase your work visually during dedicated poster sessions throughout the conference.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the final presentation format based on the quality of submissions, programme requirements, and venue capacity.
Abstract submission guidelines
What you need to know before submitting
Please review each requirement carefully — abstracts that don’t follow these guidelines may be returned for revision.
Language
Abstracts must be written in English (UK English).
Conference track
Authors are required to select one (1) conference track that best represents the primary focus of their abstract.

Presentation preference
Please indicate your preferred format — Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation. As above, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the final format.
Abstract format
- Maximum 250 words (excluding title, author information, and keywords)
- Include 3–5 keywords
- Use the following headings where applicable:
Conceptual papers, programme evaluations, case studies, or other scholarly work may use alternative headings where appropriate.
Formatting requirements
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spacing
- Abstracts must be written in UK English
- Do not include tables, figures, images, or references
- Define abbreviations in full at first mention
Review process
All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee based on:
- Relevance to the conference theme and selected track
- Scientific quality and originality
- Clinical or practical significance
- Clarity of writing
Important notes
- Submission of an abstract does not constitute conference registration
- At least one presenting author must register for the conference upon acceptance
- Accepted abstracts will be included in the MICPC 2027 Programme Book
- Full paper submission is not required
- MICPC 2027 does not publish conference proceedings or journal special issues
Originality & encore presentations
MICPC 2027 welcomes encore presentations that have previously been presented at other scientific meetings or conferences. Authors are required to declare any prior presentation of the work during abstract submission.
Where an abstract has been published previously in conference proceedings, an abstract book, or a similar publication, authors must ensure the abstract submitted to MICPC 2027 is substantially revised and is not an identical or near-identical reproduction of the previously published abstract.
Encore presentations remain eligible for oral or poster presentation, as well as conference awards, provided they comply with the above requirements. Authors are responsible for ensuring their submission does not infringe any copyright or publication policies associated with previous conferences or publications.
