Conference Objectives
What MICPC 2027 sets out to do
Four goals guide the scientific programme, from advancing evidence-based practice to strengthening collaboration across the region.
Advance evidence-based psychological science and practice
To facilitate the exchange of high-quality research, evidence-based knowledge, and clinical expertise that advance the science and practice of clinical psychology and mental health.
Bridge science, practice, and community
To promote the translation of research into clinical practice, public mental health initiatives, and community-based services through interdisciplinary collaboration and implementation.
Foster innovation and future directions in mental health
To showcase emerging developments in psychological interventions, digital mental health, behavioural medicine, artificial intelligence, and other innovative approaches that enhance mental health care across diverse populations and settings.
Strengthen professional collaboration and capacity building
To promote meaningful collaboration, networking, mentorship, and professional development among clinical psychologists, mental health professionals, researchers, educators, students, policymakers, and community partners in advancing mental health services locally, regionally, and globally.
